Handsome Henry Domestic Shorthair Adult Male for sale in Cocoa, Florida

My story
Est age 3-4 years old, handicapped Henry was brought into an animal ER with his back legs mangled and paralyzed. After treatment, he was transferred to the County animal shelter where the vets took good care of him and wrapped his legs and medicated him daily. Miraculously, his legs healed and he can stand and walk ! His back legs are still a big weak; but he keeps moving and the more he gets around, the stronger he will get. He has beautiful Classic Tabby markings (looks like he has a bullseye on his sides) and has a very short tail for a BIG cat. One foot may have permanent nerve damage as the toes/foot have a tendency to curl under as he walks ... but it doesn't seem to slow him down. Foster mom has talked with an orthopedic animal vet and there is no fix for nerve damage. He is neutered, vaccinated, combo-tested (FIV+), dewormed & defleaed. He would really do well in a home with carpeting to give him better footing to get those back legs stronger; but he is doing OK for now on tile. He is adjusting slowly to the other foster cats ... but he knows he is handicapped ... but also very handsome ! He loves attention, being petted, held and likes to talk a lot. Probably trying to tell me what happened to him ... wish we knew. Don't let the FIV+ thing scare you ... he can live safely with other cats as long as there are no bad fights. FIV can only be spread by the affected cat biting another cat with a deep puncture and getting his/her saliva into the other cat's bloodstream. This boy is not a fighter .. hisses, but no fights.
